I used a Sony DSC S85 for over 10 years before upgrading to a Canon T1i in the Fall of 2010. I learned a lot from my simple point and shoot and am still trying to figure all in the ins and outs of my DSLR. They are definitely worlds apart but you'd be surprised what you can learn from reading the owners manual!

This photo evokes SO many memories for me. As a child, growing up in Alaska, there were times when I was on my dads dogsled (cold and not enjoying the dark...no streetlights back then). When the team would bring us back to the yard...that yellow glow that lights up the snowflakes was SUCH a welcome sight...your photo takes me right back there. Thanks.
