It's alright Michelle, this spider was small and I think it was more scared of me than I was of it.
I was taking pictures of the pear blossoms on a tree and this little guy appeared and was crawling all over the place. When I started to pay attention to it, it froze.
I was about 6 inches away from it but like I said it wasn't very big- maybe the size of a dime, including it's legs.
I am not a professional of any kind, I just enjoy taking photos of the things around me and my camera is never too far out of reach. I created this blog to share some of my photos with the world because they make me happy and I hope they do the same for you.
Thanks for stopping by!
My Cameras-
Sony DSC S85
Canon Rebel T1i
I used a Sony DSC S85 for over 10 years before upgrading to a Canon T1i in the Fall of 2010. I learned a lot from my simple point and shoot and am still trying to figure all in the ins and outs of my DSLR. They are definitely worlds apart but you'd be surprised what you can learn from reading the owners manual!

Ewww! Have I mentioned that I hate spiders??? How close were you to get this shot anyway? It's too good. It's making me cringe.

That's so crazy!!! I don't care how small it was...I probably wouldn't have been able to get that close and take a picture.
It is a gorgeous shot though!!
